New Travel Photography Gallery

sydney-opera-house-0661-rauf_I have added a new Travel Photography Gallery. I took this image of Sydney Harbor on a South Pacific trip I took with my family. The Sydney Opera House is one of those beautiful places that you have seen in dozens of photographs. The challenge is to try and find a fresh perspective on something so familiar. It was cold because it was winter in Australia, and evening was just coming on. My family was getting hungry. The Metropolitan Museum in New York City, is one of the most amazing museum’s I have ever been to. This shot came in an entire room devoted to one Ancient Egyptian tomb.

The light is magnificent at sunrsie. I remember watching the hawks soar on the early morning breezes and almost forgot to take the photograph.

Disney Concert  Hall in downtown Los Angeles, from a slighty different perspecitve. I got there in the dark and as I watched the sunrise it revealed something more akin to a graphic image. Beautiful in its simplicity.
