Reflection in July
I was traveling through the Southwest with my family and at my Mom’s suggestion we stopped in the Taos Pueblo. This image of a woman selling something reflecting in the window of the mud house caught my eye.

I have no photos today. I wanted to let you know I have added a link to Chroma Investing. It is a blog which focuses on the beginning investor. It targets small time investors who have limited capital to invest, but have a do it yourself attitude. It recently spoke about opportunities in Penny Stocks and Net Net Stocks as described by Benjamin Graham. Check it out!

Ty and Sam
I love this photo of my brother in law Ty holding my niece Sam. So much love with high cuteness factor.
Monument valley at sunrise is one of the most amazing sites I have seen. This is one of the fingers in the morning.

Peruvian girl dancing
Just after sunrise our bus stopped in Yanque a town on the edge of the Colca Canyon in Peru. There was a cadre of people dancing in the early morning light for the tourists. This young girl caught my attention as she danced with the Andes in the background.

Woman sits on steps in Yucatan, Mexico
I took this shot of my wife on the rough hewn stone steps that led down to the natural pools that are all over the Yucatan. I loved the pensiveness of the moment as she looked down at the water.

Mother and her two daugthers in the village of Ek-Balaam, Mexico
At the Eco-hostel I stayed at, they had a walking tour of the village of Ek-Balaam. I met this family on the tour and stayed after the tour had moved on. The woman made tortillas as her daugthers helped. The little one fetched water from a communal water source. Lovely family.

Man Standing in the Met
The Metropolitan Museum in New York City, is one of the most amazing museum’s I have ever been to. This shot came in an entire room devoted to one Ancient Egyptian tomb.

Sunrise at the Grand Canyon
The light is magnificent at sunrsie. I remember watching the hawks soar on the early morning breezes and almost forgot to take the photograph.

Mom at Alcatraz
Mom sat on a bench in the mess hall in Alcatraz. I asked her to think about her life.
She passed away in January. She was an incredible woman who was both spiritual and insightful.
There is a website that was set up when she passed. Istiharoh.com
